Ivorey kept coming up in my client conversations this year, and a recent project gave me the chance to build inside it properly. By the end of the engagement I had set up workflows, automations, a webinar funnel, a set of landing pages, and a complete website, all inside one account.
This post walks through each of those builds, where the platform holds up well, and a few details worth checking before you move your business onto it.
What Ivorey actually is
Ivorey is an all-in-one business platform aimed at coaches, consultants, educators, and online service providers. It runs on top of HighLevel in much the same way a website runs on top of WordPress, with its own interface and support team added over the base software. The idea is that one subscription replaces the separate tools most online businesses pay for, including course platforms, checkout software, email marketing, scheduling, and page builders.
That breadth is the appeal, and it is also the reason the setup is the whole game. The platform gives you every piece, and the build decides whether those pieces work together or sit half-connected.
Workflows and automations
Workflows are the core of the platform and where I spent most of my time. I built automations for lead capture, appointment reminders, tag-based email sequences, and follow-up after purchases. The builder is visual, so every trigger, condition, and action sits in one view, which makes troubleshooting far easier than digging through a list of disconnected rules.
A few things that made the difference on this build:
- ●Mapping tags before building anything. Every workflow depends on clean tagging logic, and retrofitting tags after the fact means rebuilding half your automations.
- ●Testing each workflow with a real email address from start to finish, not just checking that it publishes.
- ●Naming conventions. With dozens of workflows in one account, names like New Workflow 3 become a liability within a week.
- ●Building cancellation and reschedule paths at the same time as the booking path, so tags never fall out of sync.
Webinars
The webinar build connected a registration page, confirmation and reminder emails, and separate follow-up sequences for attendees and no-shows. Everything runs from the same contact record, so registration data, attendance, and email engagement all live in one place instead of being stitched together across three tools.
The trickiest part is timing. Reminder emails, calendar invites, and replay windows all pull from the time zone you set, and I run a dummy registration through the funnel before it goes live.
Landing pages
I built a set of landing pages for lead magnets and offers using the page builder. The templates are a reasonable starting point, and every form on a page feeds straight into the CRM, so there is no middleware to configure and nothing to break between the form and the contact record.
The builder is more useful when you keep things simple. Pages load faster and convert better that way, so I kept each one focused on a single goal with one form and one clear next step.
The website
The last piece was a full website built inside Ivorey and connected to a custom domain. Running the site on the same platform as the CRM means every form, booking link, and email opt-in is native, and there are no third-party embeds to maintain.
One thing to plan around: an Ivorey account supports unlimited custom domains, but only one email sending domain. If you run more than one business, that shapes how you structure your accounts, and it is better to decide before you build than after.
What to check before you commit
- ●One email sending domain per account, which is a factor if you operate multiple brands.
- ●One Stripe and one PayPal integration per account, so payment separation between businesses is limited.
- ●A real learning curve. The platform covers a lot of ground, and it takes time to learn where everything lives.
- ●Migration effort. Moving email lists, courses, funnels, and automations from existing tools is a project in itself, and it needs a plan before you start.
