Valentina Akpan: Founder of Rellatech, providing administrative and operations support to executives, founders, business owners and teams. Her background combines technical support, customer success, administration and operations.
The Starting Point
The organization runs member meetings, webinars, task forces and workshops through the year, with speakers from utilities, manufacturers, transit agencies and law firms.
Each event needed to be announced on LinkedIn to members and partners.
What I Did
For each event, I designed a speaker graphic sized for LinkedIn. It shows every speaker's name, title and organization, with the event name, date and time.
Some events had several sessions, so I made a graphic for each session. Member meeting titles were in English and French.
I also designed the poster for the organization's in-person professional development workshop, with the topic, venue, date, time and registration link. When speakers or dates changed, I updated the graphics before they went out.
What Went Into the Work
Speaker graphics
Names, titles and organizations for each event.
A graphic per session
One graphic for each session of a multi-session event.
Bilingual titles
English and French titles for member meetings.
A workshop poster
Venue, date, time and registration link in one place.
Why It Matters
A member organization depends on people showing up.
Naming the speakers and their organizations gives people a reason to attend, and gives speakers something to share with their own networks.
Tools and Skills Used
Graphic design, event promotion, speaker announcements, bilingual layouts and poster design.
